About the Author

B.D. Anderson (Brenda Diane) began writing romances in middle school for her friends. She has been a published author since 2013 and loves to write contemporary interracial romances.

Brenda’s love of reading led her to historical romances as a young teen and she longed to read romances that included Black people. After her children became adults, she set out on her quest to write the type of stories she had always wanted to read.

Brenda loves photography and is usually the person taking pictures at family events. She enjoys looking at old family albums, as well as researching her family’s genealogy. In recent years, she’s been researching on her church’s history which has inspired her to write historical as well as contemporary romances.

She is an associate minister of Zion Baptist Church and writes her stories with an underlying Christian theme. Brenda resides in Richmond, Virginia with her husband. She’s the proud mother of two adult sons and one granddaughter.
